We have a fantastic Kid’s Ministry. Our staff's heart is to pour God's love into children from two months old through fifth grade. Please check out our ministries below. We hope you and your children will visit us soon. If your child will be joining us for the first time, please fill out The Harbor Family Contact Card. This will expedite your check in on Sunday morning.

Campers to your marks! Harbor Kidz Camp is back, and we're ready to let the games begin! This summer, get ready to fight the good fight, run the race, and finish strong! Harbor Kidz Camp is a great place to "train up" to become more like Jesus. We'll be diving into His Word, serving like Him, and of course competing for the ultimate prize.

Harbor Kidz Camp is for children who have completed kindergarten through completed 5th grade. Camp will be from Monday, June 10, 2024, through Friday, June 14, 2024, from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM, at The Harbor. Our 5th grade campers have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus throughout our community during their time at camp! 

Interested in serving at Camp and need childcare for your infant and/or preK aged kids? No problem! Harbor Kidz Mini Camp is the place for them! To register your infant/preschooler for Harbor Kidz Mini Camp, please email Kelsey.Matt@theharbor.life

Registration for Harbor Kidz Camp opens Sunday, April 7. Register by April 17 and save $10! The price goes up to $50 on April 18 through May 12 when registration closes. You can email Lyndsay.Ball@theharbor.life with any questions.

Because we desire to do camp with excellence there is a capacity limit for the number of campers we can host, so be sure to register your child(ren) early.

Infant & Preschool

For children ages 2 months to pre-k

Our goal is to spark wonder in your child about who God is and why He loves them so much. We provide a loving nursery program during Worship Services on Sunday mornings. We also provide childcare for children ages 2 months to 12 years during some of The Harbor's events. Reservations are required in advance for all childcare except Sunday morning services.

Elementary

Kindergarten through 5th grade

We genuinely believe the combined influence of church and family can make a difference in the hearts of children as they grow in their understanding of Biblical principles and discover what Jesus means to them. Sunday morning Elementary services are at 9:00 & 11:00 AM.

Volunteers needed | SUNDAYs | 9:00 & 11:00 AM  

Did you know that it takes 60 volunteers and staff members each Sunday to staff our children’s ministry? To fill this need, The Harbor Kid's Ministry invites you to join us in making eternal impacts for the kingdom and have a ton of fun while doing it! Serve with us on Sunday mornings! We need people over the age of 14 who know Jesus and are willing to hang out with our kiddos for a bit on Sunday mornings! We have various service positions open and available, and we'll find one that fits your God-given talents and gifting. Whether you can commit to one Sunday or 100 Sundays, we want you on the team!

Q - Can I work with my own child?
A - Absolutely! We love when parents get to serve and take part in developing their child’s spiritual wisdom and understanding!

Q - Do I have to get up and teach or act in skits in front of the whole room? What are some of the jobs you might need filled and what do they do?
A - Not if you don’t want to! We have various service positions available apart from leading Large Group such as Greeters, Hallway Administrators, Small Group Leaders, and Tech Facilitators!

Q - I’ve never worked with kids before. Can I just give it a try and quit if it doesn’t work out?
A - Definitely! We’re confident that even spending a little bit of time with our kids will make your realize that you probably already know all you’ll need to be great with our kids. Plus, we’ll have regular trainings to keep you updated on important techniques, policies, and procedures.

Q - I'm a teenager, and I love kids! Can I volunteer? How old do you have to be?
A - You must be 14 years or older to serve in Infant-Pre-K. We love our youth volunteers and welcome those currently in 6th grade to serve alongside us is in Elementary.
