My husband and I were on the verge of being empty nesters with our fourth and youngest child ready to leave home for college after graduation in the spring of 1998. We had mixed emotions about this new season of life but were looking forward to more time for “just us.” However, God had bigger and greater plans for us and, along with four other couples, we found ourselves starting a brand new church now known as The Harbor! The “just us” quickly became “just any & everyone” that God brought to this new fellowship! It was and is the adventure of a lifetime—serving alongside this church family for the purpose of building the Kingdom one person at a time!! Besides my love for our church family, I love spending time with my husband, Bob. We love raising day lilies, bees, and spending as much time as possible with our grown children and nine grands!
