Devotional
Devotion is the cornerstone of powerful prayer. Hezekiah's life exemplified this as he trusted God completely, choosing to remove idols and restore true worship. His devotion was not solely in moments of crisis but a lifestyle of seeking God. When we pray from a place of devotion, we are not trying to extract something from God but rather seeking to deepen our relationship with Him. This devotion shapes our understanding of God's will and aligns our desires with His. Let us cultivate a prayer life rooted in devotion, knowing that it prepares us for times of desperation and draws us closer to God.

2 Kings 18:5-7a – “Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before or after his time. He remained faithful to the LORD in everything, and he carefully obeyed all the commands the LORD had given Moses.”
