Devotional:
Being willing to get uncomfortable is an essential step in experiencing the power of one day. The friends of the paralyzed man did not let discomfort or obstacles deter them from reaching Jesus. Similarly, we must step out of our comfort zones, accepting that growth and divine intervention often come through challenging circumstances. Embrace the discomfort, for it is often the precursor to God’s transformative work in our lives.

Bible Verse:
“So they went up to the roof and took off some tiles. Then they lowered the sick man on his mat down into the crowd, right in front of Jesus.” — Luke 5:19b

Sermon Quote:
“Even if Jesus doesn’t do what I hope He’ll do—I still have to be willing to get uncomfortable in order for Him to do what He needs to do in me.”

Where is that place I struggle the most to get uncomfortable for God?

Prayer:
Lord, give me the strength to be uncomfortable in order to experience the power of one day. Help me to see challenges as opportunities for growth and transformation. May I trust in Your plan, even when it leads me into the unknown. Amen.
