Comfort For the Mourning

God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. That is, at least, what Jesus says. These are challenging words to believe while in the midst of grief. Pastor Jeff Maness directs our attention to three truths revealed in Lamentations 3. Scripture allows for grief, but reminds us of the faithful presence of a compassionate God, while giving us great hope for future good. The same author who says, "I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss," also says, "The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!"
