But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere

We will never be good missionaries around the world until we are great missionaries around the corner. Here at The Harbor, we follow a model of outreach that can be seen in the words of Jesus from Acts 1:8 (above). While Jesus never says there is an order of priority or intended process there, many, including ourselves, believe there is.
Our desire is to show and share the love of Jesus first in our Jerusalem (Bay Area of Houston), then to our Judea (Texas and surrounding region), then to our country (USA), then to the ends of the earth. In our seeking the Lord to open doors of partnership, serving, and sharing in these areas, we tend to focus more heavily our time, talent, and resources in a descending order in those areas.
As we build this page, you'll see a list of local, regional, national, and global partners, as well as some of the events we lead at The Harbor which are helping us live out our vision of changing the world one life at a time. (This page is under construction.)

Feeding our Neighbors in the Bay Area
Help fight hunger in our area. The Harbor Pantry supports several local shelters and food pantries. Our distribution currently goes to the Alvin Food Pantry, Grace Episcopal Church, and Faith Community Church which assists the Archangels ministry to give food to the homeless. We also contribute to local blessing boxes. You can drop your donations at the gray pantry outside of our Worship Center doors at any time.
