Prayer is our priority!
Have you considered that God may be waiting for you to talk with Him? And He with you?
Prayer begins with God. He made us, and He invites us to be with Him and communicate with Him. Yet, many of us feel we don’t know how to pray. We feel uncomfortable with it. We may think others pray ‘better’ than us. Or that God will listen to others more than to us. But God just wants us to come to Him. And through the provision He’s made in Jesus, we can (Hebrews 10:19-22)!
The Harbor Prayer Ministry exists to encourage and challenge our church to align with Jesus’ words in Matthew 21:13 – “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” It is by prayer that all other work of the church is led, supported, and empowered. Prayer matters!

Prayer Is Our Priority: The work of the church is first and foremost prayer,
by which all work is led, empowered, and supported.

Ways to engage in prayer at The Harbor
Corporate Prayer Gatherings
Come join us as we meet with the Living God, praising Him, yielding ourselves to Him, asking for His will to be done and promises to be fulfilled, asking for His Holy Spirit to invade our ministries, and presenting our specific needs to Him. These corporate gatherings are open to all!
- Sundays at 8:15AM – In the Cry Room, near the Kids Ministry Check-in Desk – Come circle up with us as we join with the living God in prayer for all He desires to accomplish in and through His Church!
- The Prayer Room (on the second floor) has been set aside as a gathering place for those who wish to meet with The Lord in prayer during one of the services. Self-serve communion is available, as well as access to the Prayer Wall to guide us as we pray for specific needs within the church.
- Sundays Immediately Following Services – Prayer Shepherds are available to join with you in prayer for you, your family, and the people in your life, bringing specific needs before the Father in prayer. You'll find them at the front, left side of the Worship Center, to the left of the stage.
There is also a weekly prayer group specifically for women who desire to pray for their children (and nieces, nephews, etc.). Gayle Norris will be leading this gathering on Monday mornings, beginning February 5, 2024, 9:00 - 10:00 AM, in the Foundry. All are welcome.
Request Prayer and pray for others
The Harbor Prayer Wall exists as one means for the local church to share our needs with each other and pray for one another.
Our hope is that the Prayer Wall will enhance our community of faith as we express our love and care for one another by praying for each other, and that as we do, God will move mightily amongst us! Click below to go to the Prayer Wall. There is also a button in our app under the Sunday tab that will take you directly to the Prayer Wall.
