Trunk or Treat

Help Make this Annual Outreach the Best Yet!

Join us for our annual Trunk or Treat on October 31, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. This is a safe alternative to neighborhood trick or treating and an outreach to our community. We will have vehicles and booths set up in our well-lit parking lot. Children can safely walk around to each decorated vehicle or booth to "Trunk or Treat" for candy and prizes. We will also have games, other activities, and snacks available.

To make it happen, we need individuals, families, and small groups to participate. You can decorate your vehicle or set up tables in your spot in our parking lot. Be creative! You can have games for the children to play, or dress up and give out candy, or think outside the trunk and do something like cotton candy or spin art! It’s all up to your creativity! This is an excellent event for small groups or families to serve at together! Help us reach families in our area with this annual event. It's a night of family fun for everyone! Please sign up to participate below.

Bring items each sunday!

We are collecting non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, paper goods, personal hygiene items, baby supplies (diapers, formula, etc), and dog food for area pantries every day. A list of high demand items can be found on an easel near the orange food pantry right outside our Worship Center doors. You can drop off items 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our pantry is always available for donations!

Even if you bring one can, that can might be the difference between a meal or going hungry for someone in our area.

The Sanctuary is a different kind of child placement agency, one that seeks to achieve permanent sanctuary in healing homes for children from hard places. They do this by offering support and training so the foster parents will be fully equipped to help these children heal. Not everyone can be a foster parent, but everyone can do something to help. Learn more about The Sanctuary here.

SoléAna Stables provides horse therapy to enhance and transform the lives of individuals and families struggling with mental and/or physical challenges. If you love horses and love to help people, this is the ministry for you! Learn more about SoléAna Stables here.

Bridges to Life ministers to offenders in an effort to show them God’s love and forgiveness. This heartfelt ministry provides an opportunity to extend the grace that Christ has given us. Learn more about Bridges to Life here.

The Bridge's mission is to offer support, provide safety and prevent domestic and sexual violence. Volunteers are the backbone of The Bridge and make a significant impact on the women who come for help. When volunteers show up to help someone they have never met and may never see again, it gives hope, hope for a future without violence, hope for a better life for both them and their children. And it begins to rebuild their belief and trust in humanity. Learn how you can help here.

Not sure where to serve?

Being willing doesn’t always make it easy to determine where to serve. We’d love to help! Contact Mindy Robertson and just ask for a phone call. She can talk about the specific, often changing needs of these ministries. And she’s great at narrowing down the opportunities according to your personality, talents, and preferences.
