Join Us for Compassion Serve Day!

The ministries highlighted here are ongoing serves. However, twice a year, The Harbor hosts Compassion Day — a church-wide focused day of effort for specific, short term projects. These projects may support Interfaith Caring Ministries, Bay Area Habitat for Humanity, Hope Village, Our Lady of Lourdes Retreat Center, Houston Galveston Food Bank, and Star of Hope Mission, and many other local organizations.

Our next Compassion Day is Saturday, March 25, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PMAll ages are welcome. (Parents please be sure your child is able to do whatever you sign them up for.) We have serving opportunities at several different locations around the area, some are even kid-friendly, so you can serve as a family. Or sign up with your Small Group! You don't need any special skills, just a willingness to serve others and to have fun doing it. Come join the team as we show our community the love of Christ!

Food drive

help feed the hungry in our area

The Harbor Food Pantry is having a nonperishable food drive to help fight hunger on Sunday, March 26, 7:30 AM through 12:00 PM. The Harbor Pantry supports several local shelters and food pantries. Help us meet our goal of collecting at least 3,000 items! You can drop your items at the orange pantry or leave them behind your car that Sunday morning, and we will pick them up during service.

If you check the easels by the orange pantry right outside our doors as you enter or exit the church, you will see a list of items we especially need. Thank you for participating!

If you have any questions, please email Mindy@theharbor.life.

She can talk about the specific, often changing needs of these ministries. And she’s great at narrowing down the opportunities according to your personality, talents, and preferences.
