Jesus calls Himself the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Matthew 5:33-36 shows us that our living as people of truth matters to Jesus. It’s the life to which we are called. In Ecclesiastes 5:1-5, King Solomon emphasizes this idea, sharing wisdom given him by God about making vows to God, and the truth is we would all do well to listen more, let our actions speak, and fear God.
