Day 3: Love Perseveres
Devotional:
Loving our families can be hard when we feel hurt, taken for granted, or ignored. Yet, God calls us to persevere in love. His love for us never gives up, even when we fail Him. Persevering in love doesn’t mean enabling bad behavior, but it does mean continuing to pray, hope, and trust that God is working in our loved ones’ lives.
Bible Verse:
"Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." — 1 Corinthians 13:7 (NLT)
Reflection Question:
Who in your family do you need to keep loving, even when it’s hard?
Sermon Quote:
"No matter how dark or hopeless some in our family might seem, love perseveres. We never give up. We continue to hold out hope that God is working, and we will see change."
Prayer:
God, help me to love my family with perseverance. Give me strength to trust in Your work even when I don’t see results. Amen.
