Devotional
The belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness are designed to work together, reinforcing each other. Truth stabilizes us, while righteousness protects us. Together, they form a powerful defense against the enemy’s attacks. As we unite these pieces of armor, we rely on Jesus as our source of truth and righteousness. He bears the weight of our burdens, freeing us to live boldly for Him.


Bible Verse
“Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.” (Ephesians 6:14, NLT)


Reflection Question
How can you ensure that both truth and righteousness are active and working together in your life?

“Without the belt of truth, you’re left with the burdensome responsibility of carrying the full weight of your own ‘righteousness.’”


Prayer
Dear Jesus, thank You for being my truth and righteousness. Help me to wear both the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness daily, so I can stand firm in faith. Unite these gifts in my life to protect and guide me. Amen.
