Devotional
Bearing one another’s burdens is an expression of genuine love and compassion. It means stepping into the messiness of life and walking alongside others in their joys and struggles. This act of sharing burdens allows us to fulfill the law of Christ, which is to love one another deeply. When we bear each other’s burdens, we multiply joy and divide sorrow, creating a community of support and understanding. In doing so, our spiritual tanks are refueled, and we experience the comfort and strength that only comes from true Christian fellowship.

Bible Verse
"Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other...Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!" —Romans 12:9–10, 15-16

How can I become more intentional in bearing the burdens of those around me? And how can I do better at allowing others to help bear my burdens?

Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for bearing my burdens and teaching me to do the same for others. Open my heart to the needs of those around me, and give me the strength and compassion to support them. May I be a source of comfort and encouragement, reflecting Your love in all that I do. Amen.
